Candidates seeking admission to this college are required to note the following instructions:-
(i) The candidate has to fill up the particulars in the prescribed admission form in his/her own handwriting neatly.
(ii) He/she has to produced the following certificates/documents along with the admission form:
(a) Detailed marks certificate (original) of having passed the lower examination and character certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
(b) Two copies of passport size photograph.
(iii) Every candidate will appear personally for interview at the time of admission.
(iv) A candidate who intends to join 10+1 class (in DAV Collegiate Secondary School) after passing matriculation examination from a board other than Punjab School Education Board (Mohali) is required to produce the following documents in addition to those stated above, at the time of admission.
(a) Transfer certificate countersigned by the authority, competent to do so on behalf of the board.
(b) Detailed marks card of 10th standard examination and 10+1 examination.
(v) Candidate for admission to TDC Part-1 who have passed 10+2 examination from a board of education other than Punjab School Education Board are required to produce Eligibility Certificate obtainable from Guru Nanak Dev University otherwise the admission is liable to be cancelled by the university otherwise the university may impose late fee if a candidate applies for eligibility certificate later than the last date.
(vi) Candidates who are admitted to TDC part-1 (all groups) after passing 10+2 examination from Punjab School Education Board are required to deposit their original detailed marks certificate of 10+2 exam with the college supdt. by July 15 for onward submission to G.N.D.U for verification. Similarly, those candidates who join M.A/M.Sc./M.Com. Part-1 having passed their B.A/B.Sc/B.Com. Examination from Punjab university or Punjabi university are required to produce migration certificate, original DMC of TDC part-I, II,III & 10+2 at the time of admission to M.A/M.Sc./M.Com. without which they may not be considered for admission. These documents are to be deposited with the supdt.by in the begining of the new academic session i.e. by Ist week of July 2010, so as to sent to the university for verification within 15 days from admission. In case of late submission, university may impose late fee.
