Food TechnologyThe Department of Food Science offers diverse and highly rated educational programs, including subjects in Dairy Technology and Meat Processing in their Under-graduate programs. Courses Available: Bachelor in Food Science and Technology

It is a four year degree professional programme, which is aimed at preparing students to face competition in food processing industries. Most of our students are well placed in industries, both in india and abroad. Some of these industries are nestle india pvt. Ltd., cadburys india ltd., hindustan lever ltd., itc, heinz foods, pepsi foods, coca-cola india pvt. Ltd., cremica foods pvt. Ltd., smithkline beecham etc.

Eligibility

A candidate who has passed Plus Two (Science) Examination of the PSEB/CBSE/ICSE with 40% marks.
Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the (1) above by the GNDU (With at least 40% marks in Science group) is eligible to join the course.
