Governance - Reforms and development in India - Day 2

We as parents, sometimes exhibit the use of corruption means in front of those innocent minds and unknowingly make them familiar with the usage of those corrupt means . Likewise, the usage of carrot and stick approach for their examination results inhibit their growth

The ICCSR Sponsored National Conference of "Governance - Reforms and development in India" organised by DAV college Jalandhar ended up on a very successful note where the revered chief guest was Shri Anil Paliwal (Inspector General , Head Quarters Frontier (BSF). He was given a warm official welcome by Principal Dr B B Sharma and Convenor Dr Raj Kumar . At this event special presence was authenticated by Dr Lakhwinder (Punjab university ) and Shri Surinder .

Principal Dr B B Sharma at the event congratulated the grand organisers of the event and talking about the education policies he quoted "it's a deep pity that even after 69 years of Independence , we are struggling around Lord McCauley's policies and killing development of our nation . but the way the professor's , students and research scholars have presented their papers it's a matter of deep pleasure , appreciation and gratification. For achieving the dream of a smart city , we need to be smart personally but remain connected to our roots . Move ahead but keeping in view nation's development and views .

Chief guest Anil Paliwal , Inspector General , Head Quarter Frontier BSF quoted " I feel so happy to be here at DAV College Jalandhar, a place which has a divine reputation , and the way students have presented themselves is fairly awesome . Today the youth is empowered enough , but all want to go abroad. Instead, strive to make your motherland a better place to be in today the world is showing respect towards the development of our country, the country bring depicted is our nation -our India . We have everything with us - everything . And for achieving e-governance , we need to go digital. Today India is shattered and caught under the deep-rooted corruption and unemployment . There is a need to strive hard to eradicate this bad ill disease and reinstate and allow rebirth of India -as sone ki chiriya . For good governance , digitisation and electronification are very important . I know its tough but not impossible . Be smart and use energy resources judiciously so as to make sustainable development possible . With a long term healthy strategies, we can eliminate corruption and bring about transparency . Appreciating the college he said "it's very constructive on their part to conduct such sessions , so as to give a new direction to young minds "

Around about 50 people presented their papers in the session where from Dav college Jalandhar :
Prof Naveen Sood ,Prof Naveen Saini ,Prof Manish Khanna, Prof charu, Prof Kanubha,Prof Kanika ,Prof Kavita, Prof navjot, Prof Ritika, Prof payal, Madhur Chopra, Monika, Vikas and professors , students and scholars from various colleges across the Punjab also participated in the paper presentation session.

Principal Dr B B Sharma presented a souvenir -a token of gratitude to the revered dignitaries . Shri Anil Paliwal was presented with a shawl to shower respect over him.Shri Anil Paliwal was presented with a shawl to shower respect over him.

At the valedictory session, all the paper presenters were given their certificates by the chief guest and the Principal. The vote of thanks was given by Prof Manish Arora 
At the event Dr Raj Kumar, Prof Manish Khanna , Prof Naveen Sood , Prof Naveen Saini , Prof A K Trivedi , Prof lalit Goyal were present to grace the occasion.
